Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program FY 2019 RFA Now Open!

Closing Date: March 6, 2019

EPA's Office of Transportation and Air Quality is soliciting applications nationwide for projects that achieve significant reductions in diesel emissions, particularly from fleets operating at or servicing goods movement facilities located in areas designated as having poor air quality. Eligible entities include regional, state, or local agencies, tribal governments (or intertribal consortia) and native villages, or port authorities, which have jurisdiction over transportation or air quality, and nonprofit organizations or institutions that: a) represent or provide pollution reduction or educational services to diesel fleets or b) have, as their principal purpose, the promotion of transportation or air quality. EPA anticipates awarding approximately $40 million in DERA funding under this announcement. For more information visit

2018 Clean Freight Corridors Workgroup Webinar: Northeast Opportunities for Alternative Fuel Corridors

Webinar - Putting Public Dollars to Work: Voucher Incentive Programs for Cleaner Trucks and Buses

On December 4th, the NEDC and CALSTART hosted a webinar that looked at the benefits and opportunities of implementing medium-duty and heavy-duty clean vehicle voucher incentive programs (VIPs) in the northeast. The webinar included a presentation from CALSTART on VIPs and from NYC DOT on the Hunts Point Clean Trucks Program and the multitude of emissions and community benefits that have resulted from this project.
